About this activity
We start the afternoon with a dish that is very popular all over Thailand; Pad Bai Graphrao, a stir fry using fresh chilli. This dish should be quite spicy and also flavoured with 'holy basil'; we will show you how this dish should really be!

We jump aboard local transport to sample the joy that is Southern food. You can't really use the term 'Jing Jing' without sampling the flavour sensations of this region. We will show you one of the most popular, fiery Southern dishes along with a sweet pork dish; this is done deliberately and you tour guide will explain why.

It’s then time to sample some street food; here your taste buds will be awakened by Yam Naem Khao Tod, a fermented pork salad with broken-up, crispy rice balls scattered throughout; it's an absolute flavour sensation. As with all Thai meals, we will be striving for balance, so not everything will be seriously hot, but it's all sure to be tasty.

Next stop is to sample the joy that is NorthEastern food. Isaan, the flavour-explosion region of Thailand, known for its grilled meats and spicy salads. Here we try Laap Pla Duk • Spicy Catfish Salad, as well as Som Tam • Green Papaya Salad. Som Tam is close to Thailand's national dish now, as it is available in every corner of the Kingdom, however we will show you a version that you may not have tried. We are up for the challenge!

Your last stop is a restaurant not known to many. It is an idyllic garden location that is difficult to find for travellers and locals alike. Here, you will savour an early dinner before your hotel dropoff.

Note: Sometimes our regular vendors are closed on the day you have a tour booked, however we have other vendors that are equally as good in the event that there are closures.
