About this activity

Set off on your bike tour in the afternoon, following pickup from your centrally located hotel in Hue. You'll cycle a total of 7.5 miles (12 km) during the1.5-hour ride, which covers a route along the Nhu Y River near the village of Vinh Ve, located at one end of Tam Giang Lagoon.

Pedal with your guide at a relaxed pace while you soak up the views. You'll pass by picturesque pavilions and green or golden rice fields en route to Chuon Lagoon. On arrival, board a boat to embark on your lagoon excursion. Learn about the daily life of local residents and visit houses on stilts, where you're served a grilled seafood dinner with local beer. Afterward, the tour vehicle takes you back to your hotel.

A bit apprehensive when our guide arrived with the bikes outside our hotel, but we followed him into the traffic and it was fine, then headed out of the city which didn't take long through these small roads and lanes, and even on the main highway which was deserted except for some cows. we watched some ducks getting loaded onto a motorbike for market, really hard case. ended up at this small place where there were a whole lot of boats, jumped on one and headed out into the farms I guess you could call it. they have their own fenced off place where they catch the fish and Prawns etc. They also sleep there on huts on bamboo. Went to a new Restaurant on an island of sorts and got served up all this seafood and cold beers. The food was good and the people were all very nice and seemed very pleased to us there. The sun gave an amazing sunset view and got some great photos then back into the shore and truck ride back to hotel. Our guide Jack Ho was really great and would recommend anyone to do this, such fun and to get out of the city as well
