Shore Excursion: A private two day trip to Luxor from Safaga port

DAY ONE

The drive will take about 3-4 hours by the desert and mountains, you will start the tour crossing the Nile to the west bank to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep 3rd (Colossi of Memnon), and ‎then you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the great pharaohs of ancient Egypt were buried, those tombs were ‎carved deep into the mountain rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the ‎pharaohs, you will have the chance to visit three tombs. Later on, you will visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt. This ‎impressive temple records the story of the Divine birth of the queen and was built of three terraces in the mountain Before driving back to your hotel in Luxor, you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant Spend a night in the beautiful city and you can enjoy one of our optional night activities suggested by your Egyptologist.

DAY TWO

On the second day, carry on the impressive experience to the famous Karnak Temple. Continue to visit Karnak Temple the largest religious place for worship site in Egypt. Enjoy walking among the forest of pillars in the great hypostyle and along the avenue of the ram-headed sphinxes, see the obelisks, you will have free time for photography and moving around.

Carry on visiting Luxor temple, which was originally joined to the temples of Karnak by the 3-kilometers Ram-headed Sphinxes Avenue. A part of which still there at the entrance to the temple.

After having great time this day in the temples, you will drive back to your cruise ship in Safaga port.
