Blue and Green cave excursion from Hvar town

1 day
About this activity
Join us on our Green & Blue Caves excursion that starts at 10:30 in the morning from Hvar town. We offer you five amazing stops, and the first one off is the

Green Cave on a small island called Ravnik, close to Vis. After entering the cave with our speedboat, you will have some free time for swimming, snorkeling, cliff-jumping and taking photos. Second stop is the highlight of the tour, it's Croatia's natural phenomena - the

Blue Cave on Biševo island. The magnificent cave will take your breath away with its blue lighting effect created by sunshine reflection. After that you'll visit another jewel of Vis island –

Stiniva cove. The beach was voted the most beautiful beach in Europe in 2016, and it is very famous for huge cliffs that encircle the cove, leaving just a small opening to enter the bay.

Our fourth stop is an optional destination! Depending on the captain’s recommendation, weather conditions and group’s wishes it can be

Budikovac island and its famous Blue Lagoon, sandy beach in

Stončica bay, World War II

military tunnels of Vis island, or maybe some lone beach for you to enjoy. Finally, on our way back to Hvar, we will stay at

Palmižana beach , which is considered to be the most beautiful one among the Pakleni Islands. There you will have free time for lunch at one of a few restaurants in the bay and swimming on a sandy beach. Finally, we take a short cruise through the labyrinth of

Pakleni Islands as we finish the tour at 6:30 - 7:00 PM.

Antonia, the tour operator, was great. She got us on the perfect boat with best skippers. We were able to swim at many different spots, enjoy beaches, enter the Blue Cave. It was one of the most pleasurable days for us in our trip. I highly recommend going on this tour.

This trip was awesome, the two people running it were great, relaxed but very informative. The locations were great that we were taken to and the group was no more than 12 so plenty of space and a chance to get to know others. We had a great day and would highly recommend this.

My trip was a little different. Unfortunately on the day I booked it was extremely windy. The caves were closed and it was very rough in the open waters. The tour leader/ captain recommended we stay at the nearby islands because of the rough seas. We did venture out for a couple of minutes and she was right, the seas were way too rough. The tour leaders were both very friendly. It was two women which was nice given that it seemed most other tours were led by men. They were friendly and informative. They were always asking if we needed anything, had any questions, etc. Unfortunately it was more like a tour of the close by islands which is much cheaper by water taxi, but the leaders made it a very enjoyable day. I would go back to do Blue Cave, etc.

This boat tour was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. We loved all the different stops where you could take time to swim, plus the blue cave was beautiful. We even had a dolphin sighting! The boat driver and her assistant were both female which we loved, they were lovely and really were great guides. They gave us beers and water too. Overall I’d highly recommend this trip!

Fantastic day, very well timed, not too long in places and did not feel rushed. Blue caves were worth the visit on their own so a spot of dolphin spotting, 2 swimming stops, and a pause for lunch on top made it even better! The 2 guides/boat crew were fantastic also!
