About this activity
Once you are picked up from Hvar, be prepared to find out why it is sometimes called the "Lavender Island". Lavender has been used in a medicinal capacity for over 2500 years, and its perfume has also a therapeutic use. The Lavender is grown on the hills and rocky slopes and is at its peak in June and July.
You will be visiting the lavender fields around the village of Brusje, high up on the old road to Stari Grad. This village has stunning views of the seas and mainland. We walk through Lavender fields, appreciate the magnificent colour and breathe in the hypnotic qualities.
After the lavender fields you will be treated to a traditional Dalmatian snack - cheese and prosciutto.
