Your Enchanting day starts at 9am from your place of stay with the visit to Golconda fort which is 12 kms from city hotels, followed by Qutub Shahi Tombs next to the fort. The guide will show you the Eco system, water pipelines, palaces, prison, water tanks, mosques, Deccan Architucture, Massive Fort walls and the panoramic views from the top of Bardari. Tombs are also Incredible !!!
After morning tour of these two monuments which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, you are strongly suggested to try ethnic Hyderabadi cuisine such as Dum Biryani, Brinjal curry, Kurba ni ka meeta etc .
Your next visits are in Old city of Hyderabad with a land mark i.e Charminar (steep steps are closed on Fridays) built in 1591 to commemorate the Plague ravage in Hyderabad. Charminars Stone and Stucco plastering Minarets stand 180 feet from the ground. Continue to walk amidst the Bangle street, where the local brides and grooms come for big bargaining Bangles, truly colorful for bridal accessories, lacquered bangles, Hyderabad Attar, Mehindi and Antiques. At this junction, you can also visit the Mecca mosque which can accommodate nearly 10000 prayers at once.
Try the local Irani chai with Osmania Biscuits before to drive back to your place of stay.

I highly recommend this tour. This was a full day of sightseeing in Hyderabad. I was picked up at my Hyderabad hotel at 9AM. My guide was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Hyderabad; you're pretty much being guided by a historian. I visited Charminar, Golconda Fort, the Laad Bazaar, and the Warangal Fort. It was very interesting how my guide connected the histories from each site. I was taking photos too and he showed me the best spots to take the best photos. The tour was to be 10 hours but I cut it short after 7 hours. It was hot and humid but the air-conditioned care was a pleasure. The guide and the driver would keep going but we saw a lot in the 7 hours. I was then taken back to my hotel. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for taking me around in Hyderabad!
Our travel guide, John, was great. Very knowledgeable of the history and great companion for the day. We started at the Golconda Fort, climbed to the top and could see all of Hyderabad. Definitely go first thing in the morning and bring plenty of water and sun protection. The architecture of the Qutb Shahi Tombs is beautiful. They are currently in the middle of restoring the tombs, so it's interesting to see what they look like before, during and after restoration. I believe restoration is ongoing through 2021-2022. We stopped for lunch at a local briyani restaurant for lunch and tried the veg and chicken briyani. Last stop was Charminar. By this time it was the middle of the afternoon and very hot. We walked through the bazaar and to the monument. We didn't spend too much time here as we had had enough of the heat and sun and decided to head back to the hotel. Would highly recommend this tour.
The Hyderabad Tour was great! My favorite part was the Golconda Fort. The tour guide added many important historic details that made the tour memorable. We visited additional sites that followed my interests such as palaces, tombs and lunch by Hussain Sagar Lake.
I really enjoyed the tour of Hyderabad. Madhu was a great guide; he provided lots of information on the history of Hyderabad and India in general. A great way to see a lot of the sites in a short amount of time, while also learning the history.
