Charminar is a timeless architectural masterpiece built by Quli Qutub Shah in 1591 to commemorate the end of the plague. We will appreciate the symmetry in the design as reflected by the exact square shape of the monument. We will also talk about the secret tunnel running from Charminar laden with treasures!

Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest of India and was built using bricks made from soil sourced from the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Mecca Masjid is a magnificent sight on Fridays with nearly 10000 pilgrims offering their prayers

Walking past bazaars full of bangles, perfumes, laces, and bridal-wear, we visit a unique Clock Tower. It was constructed by Asman Jah Bahadur, a Paigah noble who was the prime minister of Hyderabad from 1887 to 1894.
Our next destination is a 19th century Palace of a Paigah nobleman named Asmanjah who was a law minister in the service of the Nizams.
We walk to the Palace of Khurshid Jah Bahadur, who belonged to the Shamsiya family, one of the first noble families of Hyderabad.

Once regarded as the center of Hyderabad, the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizams entertained their official guests and royal visitors. Built over 200 years ago, Chowmahalla is renowned for its unique style and elegance. A synthesis of many architectural styles and influences, the Palace Complex has been meticulously restored.The highlight of the palace is the Grand Khilwat, the Durbar Hall. The sheer magnificence of the place is breath-taking.
Note- On Fridays this is closed. If the walk is on a friday we will not be visiting this place
