The only way to visit Formentera from Ibiza is on the Ibiza Formentera ferry route. Baleària’s high-speed ships depart from the port in Ibiza’s capital and after around 30 minutes you will disembark at the port in Formentera, in the village of La Savina.
Travelling by ferry to Formentera gives you the chance to visit historical sites such as Caló Sant Agustí, the Mola Lighthouse and the Cap de Barbaria Lighthouse.
However, thanks to the island’s fairly flat terrain and its small size, taking your bike on the ferry to Formentera and exploring it on wheels is one of the best options. In fact, just 15 minutes from the port you will find idyllic beaches such as Llevant and Illetes.
