Stop At: Altstadt von Innsbruck, Innsbruck Austria
You will meet your tourguide at the pick-up time in the lobby of your hotel. (day visitors will meet the tourguide in the city at a pre-arranged place). Together with the tour guide you will start your walking tour in the very center of Innsbruck where you will take a photo-stop at the “Golden roof” building – the emblem of the old town, which was Completed in 1500, the roof was decorated with 2,738 fire-gilded copper tiles. Close by you will find the biggest and first Swarovski crystal shop because the Swarovski family originates from Innsbruck. Continuing we will see Innsbruck cathedral also the Imperial palace of Innsbruck. A visit in the Imperial palace will give you many information about the former history of the Habsburg people. After the walk through the city center with it’s old buildings, we’ll have a coffee break at the legendary Sacher coffee house, time to enjoy the world’s known Sacher cake. Together with your tour guide, you’ll continue to the Hofkirche (court church), a gothic church built in 1533.
After a break for lunch/snack (not included!) with your tourguide, your afternoon tour starts.
You will transfer by shuttle bus with your tourguide to Wattens, a small village outside Innsbruck. There your tourguide will lead you the Swarowski crystal world: A stunning exhibition about the jewellery stones incuding same sculptures in the garden exhibition. Your tourguide can give you further information about the history of the Swaorwski family during your visit. At 3:30pm your tourguide will lead you back to Innsbruck by shuttle bus, where your tour will end at your preferred place.
