Grimsel Canyoning Experience from Interlaken

About this activity
Choose from a morning or afternoon pickup from one of our designated meeting points in Interlaken, then meet your guide, prepare your equipment and hop aboard your vehicle for the 1-hour journey out to the canyon. Take the scenic Grimsel Pass through the mighty Bernese Alps and admire panoramic views over the soaring peaks and rolling valleys.
On arrival in Grimsel, change into your wetsuit, helmet and other safety gear then listen as your guide gives a run-down of your activities for the day. Ensure your safety gear is attached properly then enter the canyon via a 165-foot (50-meter) abseiling route down the cliff face.
Enjoy approximately 2.5 hours in the canyon, leaping up to 26 feet (eight meters) off rocky ledges into swirling plunge pools and sliding down natural chutes. If you're not quite so adventurous, easier routes are possible too! Whizz down a high zipline into crystal-clear waters below and float effortlessly along natural streams through the canyon. With your guide to show the way in safety, you’re free to enjoy each moment in this majestic Alpine environment to the full.
At the end of your wet and wild journey through the canyon, enjoy a light lunch of bread, cheese, cucumber and tomatoes and a refreshing drink of beer or water. Afterward, hop back aboard your vehicle for the return journey to your drop off location, where your tour will come to an end.
Please note: There is no exit for people who want to stop during the trip once inside the canyon. Your trip through the canyons is filmed, and you’re welcome to buy a copy of the footage at the end of your trip (own expense).

Do this! We had a blast! The guide was great and really made our experience great! You will be cold but they give you wetsuits and everything you need. Bring your go pro if you have one with a strap to document the adventure.
