After Loch Ness, our Skye Tour continues on to Eilean Donan Castle*; one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. The castle is situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. We take time here to explore the castle and its atmospheric surroundings.

Stop At: Portree Harbour, Off the Sound of Rassay, Portree Scotland
After Eilean Donan, we continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for our lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbour village, is the capital of Skye, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills. Its beautiful surroundings make it a perfect stop to have lunch and enjoy views of the boats.

Isle of Skye is heaven on earth. Fantastic landscape, stunning places for visiting. It’s a wee bit busy time due to peak tourism’s season but anyway we enjoyed and felt in love with this land. Thanks a lot to great man Chris for history, stories and comfortable trip. We were so happy to spend that day with Chris and all people in our group. See you again, blessed land.
We covered much in 1 day trip. Definitely would recommend this trip if unable to take a few days to visit everywhere. Beautiful landscape. Marita was a great tour guide and fantastic driver! She was able to stop in fantastic stops for great pictures and she was quite the story teller.
The scene was beautiful. Through there were showers, we still enjoyed the good views between the showers. The guide Marita was excellent.
