Stop At: Loch Ness, Scotland

Loch Ness is known as the home of the Loch Ness Monster (also known as "Nessie"). The earliest report of a monster in the vicinity of Loch Ness appears in the Life of St. Columba by Adomnán, written in the sixth century AD.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh IV40 8DX Scotland

Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most recognised castles in Scotland. Strategically located on its own little island, overlooking the Isle of Skye, at the point where three great sea-lochs meet, and surrounded by the majestic splendour of the forested mountains of Kintail, Eilean Donan’s setting is truly breath-taking.

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Black Cuillin, Scotland

Once on the Isle of Skye we make our way up the east coast of the island. Take in the stunning views of the Red and Black Cuillin mountains, and the islands of Scalpay and Raasay as we head south west through many small villages, down single track roads towards the Fairy Pools.

Stop At: Fairy Pools, Road to Glenbrittle Glenbrittle, IV47 8TA Scotland

Walk in the shadow of the Cuillin Mountains, with the supernaturals through fairy-sized landscapes and their most famous baths, the Fairy Pools. The pools are located in one of the most dramatic landscapes on Skye. The fairies regularly bathe here, in the crystal clear green pools of the River Brittle. Weather permitting, you can swim in the pools of the river, one of the UK’s best wild swimming spots. Have fun diving under natural arches and waterfalls, but please do not spy on the fairies, as they can easily take offence!

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Talisker Distillery, Carbost IV47 8SR Scotland

Talisker distillery based in Carbost was the only whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye, the whiskey is a single malt Scotch, with a very distinctive Peaty-smoky taste. We shall go through the Visitor Centre and if available sample one of the fine whiskys produced here.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: The Old Man of Storr, Scotland

We head north from Portree to the Old Man of Storr – marvel at this 50-metre pillar of rock, broken away from the main ridge of Totternish to stand on its own, as if guarding the rest of the other-worldly landscape, created by volcanic activity millions of years.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Portree Harbour, Off the Sound of Rassay, Portree Scotland

We will spend some time in the tiny harbour town of Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye with its brightly coloured buildings beside a picturesque harbour, the name of the town of Portree commemorates the visit of King James the V in 1540, records have it that it was originally called Portray and was believed to have been inhabited as far back as the Mesolithic period.

The whole tour was great! Rob our driver was very informative and I really enjoyed learning about the ways of Scotland from him. I was a bit confused at the Fairy pools...not sure if we saw them or not haha! We hiked as far as we could with the time given, it didnt look like the pictures, but regardless the views were amazing and well worth the trip!!! Thanks for the great time everyone! highly recommend

Worth going to enjoy climate, mountain and greenery but the main headache is its too far and get tired traveling by bus.

We bought this tour because it was the only one that included together fairy pools, the old man of storr, kilt rock, etc ...Loads of expectations, we left at 8.30 in the morning from Inverness. We were thinking of reaching Skye’s island in the morning as it was on the tour itinerary but our driver did everything to waste time: stops in the bars every 5 minutes, visits to unknown places or places of little interest, etc. ..We arrived at 1PM on the island and went to the fairy pools. It was raining and very cold, so many people in the group decided not to cross the river to reach the pools. Only 3 person want to go. So The driver accompanied the people to the pools leaving all the others - now soaked in the rain - on the bus for two hours without even being able to go to the bathroom !!!After the fairy pools we have not seen anything more than what we had been promised because of the weather .... so he have been told usBasically we spent 80 euros without doing the planned route, a real scam!In my opinion, Viator should take action against this company that has proved dishonest and unfair because it promised more stops to visit in their itinerary while, in fact, he did less than its competitors. The guide has chosen a totally different and uninteresting path from that foreseen in a completely arbitrary way.We hope that other customer don’t make the same mistake!
