Isle of Skye tour including Loch Ness, Fairy Pools, Eilean Donan Castle, Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock

Join this tour from Inverness to the Isle of Skye and head straight to Loch Ness. You will journey towards the mighty stronghold of Urquhart Castle with its splendid views of the famous Loch and the Great Glen, with views out to the main Nessie-sighting 'hotspot'.

Travel through an area of soaring mountains, sparkling rivers and wild moorlands to Glen Sheil under the shadow of the Five Sisters of Kintail. Drive along the black waters of Loch Duich to the next stop, Eilean Donan Castle, where you can visit the castle (£7.50 fee) or explore the surrounding area. A short drive from here takes you to the unforgettable Isle of Skye. Here you will walk the trail to the Fairy Pools. Bring your swimsuit and a towel in the summer months to take a swim. Next up is Portree, where you will grab some food and spend some time in the capital of Skye.

Then on to the Old Man of Storr, a landscape used in many sci-fi films, and known for its rock formations and stunning vistas. This whole coastline has been designated as an outdoor museum in stone. The tour takes in large parts of the eastern side of Skye (including Kilt Rock) with its awesome skies and endless ocean, before heading south and back over the Skye Bridge to the Kyle of Lochals before heading back to Inverness.
