Itinerary

Day 1: ST. POLYCARP AND SMRYNA

Stop At: Izmir, Izmir, Izmir Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
We meet you at Izmir Airport or at your Izmir Hotel then start exploring the first destination of our package. Visit the Church of St. POLYCARP which is the oldest church in ancient Smyrna, it symbolized the community of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse. Then visit Alexander the Great’s “Velvet Castle” overlooking the bay of Izmir.

Day 2: PERGAMON

Stop At: Pergamon Antik Kenti, Bergama Turkey
After the breakfast at the Hotel, departure around 08:00 - 08:30 to visit Pergamon, Red Basilica, the Acropolis and the Asclepion cities. At the end of the tour return to Izmir and stay overnight.

Day 3: SARDES – PHILADELPHIA – PAMUKKALE

Stop At: Sardis (Sardes), Belediye Cd. No:124 Sart, Salihli 45300 Turkey
After the breakfast at the Hotel, departure around 08:00 - 08:30 and drive to Sardes, the ancient capital of the Lydians and visit the Church of Sardes. Continue to Alasehir where the ancient Philadelphia Church is located. Walk the streets of Philadelphia, then proceed to Pamukkale, the white “Cotton Castle” with its lime cascades of the Roman spa. See the ancient city of Hierapolis. The Martyrium of St. Philip the Apostle is here. Enjoy a leisurely bath in the hot spring pool of your hotel and stay overnight in Pamukkale Town.

Day 4: LAODICEA – APHRODISIAS – KUSADASI

Stop At: Laodicea, Just off Denizli - Pamukkale, Denizli Turkey
After the breakfast at the Hotel, departure around 08:00 and morning visit to Eskihisar, the ancient Laodicea City, then drive to Aphrodisias, the city of the Goddess of Love, see the well preserved Stadium, The Temple of Aphrodite, the Odeon, the theater, Agora and Hadrian Bath. Then drive to Kusadasi and stay overnight.

Day 5: EPHESUS - HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY - BASILICA OF SAINT JOHN

Stop At: Ancient City of Ephesus, Selcuk 35920 Turkey
After the breakfast at the Hotel, departure around 09:00 and a full-day visit to the unforgettable remains of Roman Empire Capital; Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary where believed that she spent her last years and ascension, the Archaeological Museum and the Basilica of Saint John. At the end of the tour return to Kusadasi and stay overnight.
