You will meet with your tour guide then start to drive to Izmir City . When you arrive Izmir you will begin to discover on the coast line called ''Kordon'' . On the way you will listen the history and many stories about Izmir city.
Once upon a time Alexander the Great arrive this city and Castle from 4th century BC on the PAGOS-Hill overlooking the whole city and ancient AGORA (the best preserved Roman Market) were constructed.
Visit Izmir's Ancient Agora which was once a bustling Roman bazaar and today you can still see Colonnades of Corinthian columns, vaulted chambers and a reconstructed arch making it one of the best-preserved Agoras in the world.
After, you will be taken to Karatas, a neighborhood historically known for its Jewish population. Here, pay a visit to Asansor, an elevator building built in 1907 by Jewish banker and trader Nesim Levi. Take a brief stroll along Dario Moreno street, which was named after the famous Jewish singer who lived there.
The next stop will be the Museum of History and Art in Fair Area with art crafts from old Symrna,Ephesus and various ancient sites.
This museum is overlooked by many visitors of the city, who do themselves a great disservice in the process. Spread over three pavilions, it is one of the richest repositories of ancient artifacts in the country and its Sculpture pavilion – crammed with masterpieces from ancient Smyrna, Teos, Miletos, and Pergamon – is simply sensational. The Precious Objects and Ceramics pavilions contain jewelry, coins, and pots, all displayed in a somewhat dated fashion but with informative labeling in English.
Then Proceed to the İzmir’s Symbol, the Clock tower which was built in 1901.
Lunch is recommended in a local restaurant on Kordon with the view of agean sea .
Then you will be driven to Selcuk area to visit Ephesus archaeological Museum where many findings from Ephesus are displayed .
Next, You will have a cultural demonstration stop at the carpet viewing village .
At the end of your tour you will be transferred to hotel.
