Day 1: Arrival and first day journey | Airport > Chilaw > Anuradhapura

Stop At: Munneshwaram Hindu temple, Munneshwarama, Chilaw 61000 Sri Lanka
Pickup at airport and start tour by visiting Manavari temple and Munneswaram temple

Manavari temple lord Rama installed first lingam due to ride off brahmahathi dosham that happened due to killing King Ravan who was a Brahmin. Today, the lingam is called "Ramalinga Shivan".

Munneswaram temple is one of the important regional Hindu temples in Sri Lanka. It associates with the popular epic Ramayana. The temple is one of the ancient Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Shiva in the region.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Murugan Temple, Chillaw - Colombo Main Road Madampe, Chilaw 61000 Sri Lanka
This temple has about 20 feet Murugan statue, also the temple has beautiful statues.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Travel from Anuradhapura to Jaffna

Stop At: Thiruketheeswaram Kovil, Mannar Town, Mannar 41000 Sri Lanka
Ketheeswaram temple is an ancient Hindu temple in Mannar. It is one of the Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Shiva.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Naguleswaram Temple, Keerimalai, Jaffna 40000 Sri Lanka
Visiting Naguleswaram and closest Keerimalai pond. Also, visiting Vallipuram Alvar temple, Selva Sannidhi Murugan temple and Maviddapuram Kandaswamy temple

It is Pancha Ishwaram of Lord Siva. Closer to this temple Keerimalai Spring is located.

Stop At: Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Kovil, Nilaveli Road, Trincomalee 31000 Sri Lanka
One of the famous Hindu temples in Trincomalee. It has lovely architecture with light blue and yellow colors.(If time permits, it is possible to visit Marble Beach on the way to Kandy

Koneswaram Temple is revered as one the Pancha Ishwarams, of Sri Lanka for long time. Also, it has Ravana's Cleft and Lovers' Leap.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Kanniya Hot Springs, Kanniya, Trincomalee 31000 Sri Lanka
Kanniya hot water spring is a site with hot wells. There are seven wells in a square shape. Wells are only 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperature is considerably high but vary slightly from one spring to another.

Day 5: Kandy > Nuwara Eliya

Stop At: Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, Kandy-Nuwaraeliya Road, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple (aka Ramboda Anjaneyar temple) was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka. It has 16 feel Hanuman statue. This place, Ramboda is believed to be the place where Rama forces gathered to fight with King Ravana.

Stop At: Ramboda Waterfall, Pussellawa Sri Lanka
Ramboda waterfall is one of a most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. It is 358 feet height and located 3,100 feet above sea level.

In addition, travelers can spend time at Gayathri peetham as well as they can do Nuwara Eliya city tour which could take 1 to 2 hours. Also, they can visit a tea factory where they can see tea processing.

Stop At: Sita Temple, Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
Seetha Eliya temple (aka Seetha Amman temple) is believed to be the site where Seetha (Sita) was held captive by king Ravana. In this place, she was praying to Rama to rescue her. Also, there are footprints that believed to be footprints of Hanuman.

Also, travels would visit Divurumpola temple where Sita was tested on fire. This would take another 30 minutes.

Stop At: Ravana Ella Falls, Ella-Wellawaya Road, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
Rava waterfall is famous in terms of beauty and lovely landscape. As per the folk story, it is believed to be the place where Sita Devi being held. Today, there is a cave which is difficult to access to tourists, is believed to be captive spot.

Stop At: Kataragama Temple, Ruhunu Maha Katharagama Devalaya, Katharagama, Kataragama 91400 Sri Lanka
Kataragama temple (aka Kathirkamam Murugan temple) is one of the famous temple is Sri Lanka. It attracts more worshipers and visitors. It is one of the few religious sites in Sri Lanka that is venerated by the Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and the Vedda people.
Duration: 50 minutes

Day 7: Kathirkamam (Kataragama) > Colombo

Stop At: Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil, Kotahena, Colombo Sri Lanka
A long journey will be happened from Kathirkamam (Kataragama) to Colombo. During the period, there is possibility of visiting importance places if travelers agree.

When they reach Colombo, they will visit Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar temple which is made by granite stones. This is a beautiful temple.

After visiting the temple, travelers will have Colombo city tour, and they can seen some good places in Colombo.
