Stop At: GeTS Holidays, New Delhi 110002 India

Diwali celebrations in Jaipur tour begins with a pickup at 05:00 PM from your hotel in Jaipur. From here, you will head to Ganesh Pol the main entrance of the Diggi Palace, a 300 year old fort converted into a heritage hotel in the year 1990, where the royal Diggi Family still resides. Upon reaching here, you will be welcomed by foot-tapping dhol beats and flower showers while you walk towards the Gol Chakkar - a circular fountain adorned with traditionally-decorated elephants and horses with mounted cavalrymen.

Upon reaching the Palace, you will be greeted with floral garlands and tikka ceremony (applying a forehead mark) along with non-alcoholic welcome refreshments (light snacks). Next, you will proceed to the Durbar Mahal as it’s time for the Lakshmi Puja. Here, you will meet the royal Diggi Family dressed in beautiful traditional clothes. If you love fireworks, you can step outside the Durbar Mahal and enjoy the eye-catching display of fireworks lighting up the sky.

After paying homage to Goddess Lakshmi (wife of Lord Vishnu and goddess of health, wealth, fortune and prosperity), you will now enjoy a 45-minute cultural programme. During this programme, you can order snacks and beverages (which will be chargeable). After the show ends, you will head towards the dinner venue for a candle-lit dinner. The sumptuous dinner will include a Buffet system, Barbeque counters/ Roomali Roti and Local Millet Bread (Bajra/Makki) counters. Your dinner ends on a sweet note with Jalebis - an Indian sweet made of pretzels or circular shapes soaked in sugar syrup.

Now your Diwali festival in Jaipur tour comes to an end and you will be returned to the hotel with invaluable memories of to cherish for a lifetime.
