The Amber Fort, also known as the Amer Fort ranks in the popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. This magnificent fort is a great relic of the medieval Rajput style of construction. Initially, the fort was started by Raja Man Singh I of the Kachhwaja dynasty in the year 1592 and was completed by Raja Jai Singh at a later date.

Some of the important buildings in the Amber Palace are Shila Devi Temple, Jai Mandir, Diwan-E-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam, Kali Temple and Ganesh Pol. From the top of the fort, tourists can have a panoramic view of the entire city of Jaipur.
