DetailsTour the city of Jaisalmer, the 12th century town founded by Rajput king Jaisal Singh. Jaisalmer has numerous ancient monuments, one around almost every corner. Start the tour at Tilon Ki Pol Gadisar Lake and visit old havelis, museums, lakes and gardens. Break for lunch when hunger calls and try some local cuisine at a place that the guide recommends. After a lovely tuck-in, continue the tour with a visit to the Jaisalmer War Museum and end the trip at Jaisalmer Fort, also known as the Golden Fort.
