Half Day Jaisalmer City Tour with Fort and Heritage Havelis

At 8.00 am, board our chauffeur driven car waiting at your booked hotel in Jaisalmer. The same day city tour will start with a visit to ‘Jaisalmer Fort’, also called as Sonar Quila. It is made of yellow sandstone and is perched on the Trikuta hill amid the sandy expanse of the Thar Desert. The staggering features of the Fort are - 99 bastions, 4 fortified gates, The Raj Mahal Palace, Jain Temples and The Laxminath temple.

After a tour of Jaisalmer Fort, you will be taken to an ancient Haveli turned into museum ‘Patwon ki Haveli’. The largest Haveli in Jaisalmer is a group of 5 Haveli’s featuring sandstone carvings, mirror work, immaculate paintings, artistic arches and gateways. Then, move forward to next site ‘Salim Singh Ki Haveli’, a unique architecture with rooms forming a peacock shape. Located near Jaisalmer Fort, this haveli has as many as 38 beautifully designed balconies.

 Afterwards, visit ‘Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli’, an ornate haveli completely made of yellow sandstone. The Haveli has magnificently carved walls with patterns of elephants. It is a marvelous blend of Rajput and Islamic architecture.

After an interesting sightseeing, the tour will complete by transferring back to your booked hotel in Jaisalmer.
