Jaisalmer City Tour with Camel Safari in Desert

At 8.00 am, our driver will pick you up from your booked hotel in Jaisalmer. Get ready for the day long city tour with Camel ride. First, visit ‘Jaisalmer Fort’, a yellow sandstone fort built on Trikund hill. It is a splendid architecture with 99 bastions, 4 fortified gates, The Raj Mahal Palace, Jain Temples and The Laxminath temple. Then visit ‘Patwon ki Haveli’, now a museum with a group of 5 haveli’s. It was once the largest Haveli in Jaisalmer with a cluster of 5 huge mansions or haveli’s. The noteworthy things in the fort are sandstone carvings, mirror work, fine paintings, artistic arches and gateways.

Move forward to ‘Salim Singh Ki Haveli’ which renders a beautiful architecture with rooms forming a pattern of peacock bird. It is located close to Jaisalmer Fort. The 38 balconies decorated with gorgeous designs are worth watching. Then visit ‘Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli’, a pure blend of Rajput and Islamic architecture. The haveli is made of yellow sandstone and the walls decorated with elephant patters will catch your attention. Next visit to ‘Gadisagar Lake Tank’ will show you a water conservation tank built in 1400 AD and is also a great place to enjoy birding.

The evening will be for a joyous camel safari on the Sam sand dunes in the Thar Desert enjoying a spectacular view of sunset. The camel safari shows you scenic views of the desert with golden sand all around. Know what troughs and crests are on the sand dunes while riding on the camelback. After the camel safari you will be dropped back at your booked hotel in Jaisalmer terminating the tour package.
