Indian Cooking and Dining Experience with Locals in Agra
Meet Deeb and Bushra at their beautiful home in Agra as they welcome you with a cool drink of Sharbat E Azam (Mughlai style rose based drink). After settling in over the welcome drink, Deeb and Bushra will guide you to the kitchen where you can assist them in making few of the dishes and also Chapatis (Indian wheat-based flatbread). The home-chefs will be happy to share some cooking secrets with you. You can then head to the dining area where you will be served the rest of the meal. You will be joined by the family who will show you the best way to enjoy an Indian meal.
The menu will comprise of some common veg dishes like Shahi Mattar Paneer (Cottage cheese with peas cooked in homemade spices), Dal Tadka (Lentil curry with a sizzling tempering of red chillies), Aloo Jeera (dish made of boiled potatoes and cumin seeds) and also some non-veg mains like Shahi Mutton Korma (Mutton prepared with a blend of spices) and Shami Kebab (a smooth pattice of minced mutton). For dessert, Deeb and Bushra will offer you Sheer Kurma which is a traditional Mughlai style dessert cooked with rice, milk, cardamom and dry fruits.
