Private Agra Day Tour

After hotel pickup in New Delhi, your tour starts with the morning drive to Agra; it's better to start early so you have more time in Agra.

When you arrive, meet your guide and head to the Taj Mahal, an enormous mausoleum built out of marble in the 1600s. Described as “a teardrop on the face of eternity," it's one of the best examples of Mughal architecture, commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Next, head to a 4- to 5-star hotel for lunch, which is included, and then you'll be taken to Agra Fort, a walled city built in the 1500s, during the reign of the Mughal dynasty. You'll also visit the Marble Palace, where you can watch craftsmen working on marble. When your time in Agra is up, return to New Delhi for drop-off.
