About this activity
On this one-way tour from Jasper to Banff, your interpretive tour guide will share stories and explain about the geographical and historical significance of the region as you travel the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Sightseeing stops along this beautiful highway include Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefields, the Weeping Wall, Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier.
Your stop at the Columbia Icefield will provide you with approximately 4 hours to take part in the Ice explorer tour onto the Athabasca Glacier, and/or explore the Glacier Skywalk over looking the Sunwapta Valley. You may also choose to enjoy the interpretive exhibits at the Columbia Icefield Centre or take a short guided walk to a scenic viewpoint.
Picnic lunch and admission to both the Glacier Adventure and Glacier SkyWalk are included. This tour ends in Banff and runs May 1st to October 15th.

We were needing to get from Jasper to Banff and decided to use this tour as our way of getting there. This was a great day, not only did were get to Banff but had an interesting and fun day on the way. The trip was well organised and we were able to get onto the ice parkway and the amazing sky walk, plus see lots of beautiful scenery on the way. Highly recommended.
This tour was not clear on Viator website about where it went and we basically ended up doing the same trip again but with another company called sun dog. We had 3 hours to waste while we waited for people visiting the glacier and skywalk, we wanted to spend time in Banff but arrived very late and shops were closed. We were unaware that Viator used different tour operators.
Not to be missed. Worth every penny and more. Plan to take this day-long tour. With luck, you'll get our Irish-French-Canadian Guide. note that we actually toured the ice fields from Banff to Jasper.
