About this activity
Your tour begins with a drive to the Mount of Olives, which offers stunning views of the Holy City. Onward you will continue on to Mount Zion, the site of King David’s Tomb, the Hall of the Last Supper, and the Church of Dormition. Upon arrival in the city itself, you will explore some of Jerusalem’s most famous sites. You will walk along the Cardo, a restored road that dates back to Roman times. You will then visit the world-renowned Wailing Wall (Kotel), one of the city’s most sacred sites.

Afterwards, follow in Christ’s footsteps along the Via Dolorosa, the route he took on his way to being crucified, culminating at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Leaving Jerusalem behind, you will be driven through the Judean Desert en route to the Dead Sea. The lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea is known for its therapeutic powers. Finally, visit one of the health resorts located on its shore, bathing in mineral-rich mud, before floating upon the salt-laden waters of the sea itself.

Overall, the tour was good but felt it was rushed. I went on a Friday which meant less traffic so we arrived at our destinations early and yet we weren’t given opportunities to stop at shops or anything else. We’re forced to eat and but buy from the locations the tour guide had relationships with, which was pretty annoying. I think considering we were touring on a Friday, we shouldn’t have been rushed the way we were and we even ended the tour almost 2 hours earlier than expected.
