This Synagogue was initially established by Ramban in the XIII Century. Since that time it was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times. The last time it happened in 1948, when it was blown up by the Jordanian Army. Finally it was rebuilt and reopened only in 2010, to represent a revival of Jerusalem
