Jodhpur - Mehrangarh the Sita wayCook in a Blue House

About this activity
This is a cooking session which is totally informal and is conducted in the family kitchen by the housewife. The husband does most of the talking while she joins in between. You will be amazed by their knowledge of spices and its medicinal values. Get to know the culinary nuances of the walled city and the Brahmpuri’s palate of no onion, no garlic, no meat, no eggs and no fish.
Sita recommends their Chickpea flour (besan) curry, and a dish made out of popadoms in pure ghee, a Brahmpuri special cooked only in the houses of Brahmins, the priestly class of Jodhpur.
A great opportunity for some casual conversation over some really tasty home cooked food. Nothing fancy. It is like eating with a family in their home. Nice views too. The husband speaks fluent English. They have a son who is studying to be an engineer and a school going 15-year old daughter
