Itinerary

Day 1: Panorama Route Tour

Stop At: Panorama Route, R532 Blyde River Canyon, Graskop 1270 South Africa
Your exciting African adventure starts with a pickup from your Hotel near / from O.R Tambo Airport or from Pretoria.
The scenic drive to the start of the Panorama Route will take approx. 3-4 hours, with a breakfast stop along the way, overlooking a private wildlife area which contains some of Africa's wildlife such as rhino, Buffalo & Plains Game.
The Route starts at the impressive and history rich Sudwala Caves, with an interesting hour long Cave Tour. Visit the spectacular Lone Creek Falls situated in beautiful indigenous forest and the only falls in the region where you can stand at the bottom while the spray from the water hitting the pool below forms mist around you. Next stop is the Mac Mac Falls with an amazing and breathtaking view of the gorge from above. Your last stop for this exciting day is the mystical Pinnacle Rock with an eagle's eye view over the Lowveld. Make your way to your accommodation where you will stay your first night and enjoy dinner at the restaurant.

Stop At: Sudwala Caves, R539, Nelspruit South Africa
Visit the intriguing Sudwala Caves which is the oldest known cave system in South Africa, abundant in both cultural and natural history.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lone Creek Falls, Ehlanzeni, Sabie South Africa
Visit the beautiful Lone Creek Waterfall where you can enjoy the mystical walkway through indigenous forest that leads to the waterfall and comes out at the area where the falls hist the water at the bottom.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Mac Mac Falls, Sabie Waterfalls Route, Sabie South Africa
This impressive waterfall is 86 meters high and does not fail to impress with it's splendor, surrounded by rolling grass hills on the top and natural forest at the bottom.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: The Pinnacle Rock, Graskop South Africa
This amazing sight showpieces not only a superb natural work of rock art carved out by water over many centuries, it continues to amaze with an amazing panoramic view over the surrounding Lowveld. After this stop, you will head to your accommodation for the evening.
Duration: 20 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight at Mogodi Lodge, situated on the Panorama Falls in Graskop. Comfortable Private En-Suite accommodation.

Day 2: 2nd Part of Panorma Route + Canyon Boat Cruise

Stop At: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, R543, 2351 South Africa
This exciting day starts at 07h30 with breakfast at the restaurant. After breakfast, you'll make your way to the stunning Lisbon Falls (highest falls in the region) and Berlin Falls. Afterwards you will continue with the Panorama Route all alongside the beautiful Blyde River Canyon (the 3rd largest and the largest green canyon in the world) and visit Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels (best view of the Canyon). Settle in & relax until it’s time for your River Safari to start at 15h00.
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Blyde River Nature Reserve while cruising down the Canyon, also see the 2nd highest Tufa waterfalls on earth. Return to your accommodation afterwards and relax until dinner is served & prepared by your guide around 18h00.
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Lisbon Falls, Graskop 1270 South Africa
After a delicious breakfast, you will continue on the Panorama Route and make your way to the tranquil Lisbon Falls which is the highest in the area.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Bourkes' Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, Moremela South Africa
Make your way along the Blyde River Canyon towards the Bourke's Luck Potholes which is the confluence area of the Blyde and Treur rivers where the flow of water carved out impressive rock formations.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Three Roundavels, Blyde River Nature Reserve Northern End of the Drakensberg Mountain Range South Africa
This last, but certainly not the least of the Panorama Route is probably the most impressive sight with a breathtaking view over the Blyde River Dam area as well as a spectacular view of the canyon itself.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, R543, 2351 South Africa
Make your way to your beautyful accommodation for the evening, situated in the Swadini area with an amazing view of the surrounding Drakensberg Mountains. After settling in and a short rest, you are in for a very special treat with a late afternoon boat cruise on the Blyde River Canyon Dam which will afford you excellent nature and landscape scenes as well as a view of the 3 Roundavels from the bottom. Afterwards you can enjoy dinner back at your accommodation, prepared by your guide.
Duration: 2 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at Ya Mati, a very beautiful lodge with a botanical garden and river area, very rich in bird and animal life.

Day 3: Moholoholo Wildlife Centre Tour & Kruger Open Vehicle Sunset Game Drive

Stop At: Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, R531, Hoedspruit South Africa
Enjoy a tasty breakfast around 07h30. Afterwards you will make your way to Moholoholo wildlife Rehabilitation centre to go on a very interesting tour starting at 09h30. At the centre you can get close to Africa’s wildlife and learn more about these amazing animals. Animals that could be viewed are Leopard, Lions, Serval, Vultures, Honey badger(famous Stoffel) etc. to name but a few.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
After your wildlife tour you will head to the iconic Kruger National Park. As soon as you have entered you will start to see some wildlife, be especially on the lookout for Rhino, Elephants, Buffalo and Leopard during your first excursion through the Park. Arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon, situated next to the beautiful Sabi River which attracts plenty of wildlife. Settle in and relax until your open vehicle Sunset Game Drive starts at 16h30. Afterwards enjoy dinner prepared by your guide under African skies in the true Safari way.

Accommodation included: Overnight inside Kruger National Park, in Skukuza Rest Camp where you can enjoy sounds of nocturnal night life.

Day 4: Explore Kruger, go on an exciting Bush Walk & Sunset Game Drive

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
Next morning enjoy the beautiful African Sunrise and get close to Nature on foot by going on an adrenaline packed Bushwalk starting around 04h00(duration 3 hours).(The walk could be substituted with an open vehicle Sunrise Game drive, if you would like to do so).
Afterwards enjoy breakfast back at your accommodation.

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
Depart after breakfast and enjoy another closed vehicle mid-day Game drive through Kruger National Park & visit Waterholes, Riverbeds and Lookout points in search of the Big 5 or relax at Camp, buy a souvenir or take a dip in the swimming pool.
Be also on the lookout for the frequent accommodation visitors such as Bushbuck, Baboon, Warthog, Impala, spotted Hayena to name but a few.
At 16:30 you will be able to go on an exciting open vehicle Sunset Game drive. Be on the lookout for nocturnal animals which starts to stir.
Return back to camp after your 3 hour drive and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by your guide under open African skies.

Accommodation included: Overnight inside Kruger National Park, in Skukuza Rest Camp where you can enjoy sounds of nocturnal night life.

Day 5: Last Kruger excursion and transfer to Johannesburg

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Malalan Gate, Nelspruit 1350 South Africa
This last day starts early at with a 04h00 Sunrise Open Vehicle Game Drive. Enjoy breakfast back at camp, from where your guide will take a slow drive to the exit gate and provide you with a last chance to spot the wildlife that eluded you the previous days. Once out of the park, enjoy the scenic drive back to Johannesburg which will take approximately 5 - 6 hours with a comfort stop on the way where you will also have an opportunity to buy lunch. Arrive at your specified Destination/Hotel late afternoon/early evening where unfortunately your Safari will come to an end. It's recommended to overnight at a hotel on your last day of your tour or book your flight from 19h00 or later.
