Enjoy the beauty and splendour of Sun City and the Pilanesberg Game Reserve

Day 01 -

Arriving at Johannesburg Int. Airport. Meet and greet in case of private transfer with driver/guide - or collecting the hired car for self-drive - travel 130 km to the west along the Magaliesberg mountains.

Arriving in the early afternoon hours in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, at your accommodation for the next 2 nights. There will be time for the first exciting - afternoon - game drive with open safari vehicles inside the Reserve of 55 000 hectares. Your experienced game ranger will take you around for 2 - 3 hours, explaining all details of African wildlife, and you can spot the "Big Five" (elephant, lion, leopard, rhinoceros, African buffalo) among other wild animals, as they are living freely in their natural environment.

Return to your cozy lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner. Overnight: 4-star lodge with swimming-pool. (Non-malaria area.)

 

Day 02 -

Early morning wake-up call to start the morning game drive, when most of the wild animals can be seen, after their long night sleep. You will return on time for the lovely buffet breakfast and have some rest.

Early afternoon you can take the shuttle bus of the lodge - departs every two hours - and visit the nearby famous Sun City/Lost City, the mini Las Vegas of the country. Walk in the beautiful gardens, have a glass of wine or a coffee in one of the restaurants, try your luck in the Casino. Dinner will be served at the restaurant of our lodge.

Optional program: Evening show at the Extravaganza Theater. 

Overnight: As the day before.

 

Day 03 -

After breakfast return to Johannesburg and continue your program in any destination of your choice.
