Join us on this incredible 12km hike through the largest man made indigenous forest in South Africa. Along the way you will get to see some fascinating and ingenious land art sculptures. These art sculptures have been created Charles Gotthard. He is one of South Africa’s most avanté-garde & successful ceramists. His name has been included in 3 authoritative South African publications. His works have been bought by art museums across South Africa such as the Pretoria Art Museum, Potchefstroom & the Tasgallery in Cape Town.Steyn city is situated a mere 30 minutes drive from most suburbs in a Johannesburg. It is regarded at the most expensive real estate in South Africa. The setting for the hike is absolutely stunning. The hike will take you on winding paths where you will get to see the indigenous plants, land art sculptures and even some of the animals. The route also takes us past some of the most exquisite houses in Johannesburg. The route also takes us past a few of the greens on the world class golf course.

The hike includes a scrumptious home made picnic under the trees. Enjoy a panoramic view of the estate from the club house at the end of hike. A stunning spot for a glass of wine or ice cold beer.
