Shepherd Tree Game Lodge 3Days Safaris - Pilanesberg National Park

The entire lodge lies in an exclusive use zone in the south-western portion of the 57,250ha, “Big 5″ and malaria free Reserve. The magnificent main lodge acts as a central gathering point and social environment for all guests as well as the point from which all the activities depart and return . The featured architecture and interior design are the hallmark of the whole lodge, and flawless finishes leave no detail overlooked. The lodge offers commanding views of the distant bushveld amphitheatre and is superbly positioned adjacent to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve’s Wilderness Area, thus offering the opportunity of walking trails in this untouched environment. Guests can enjoy 2 game drives daily which are conducted in the Pilanesberg during the morning and evening when you are guided by your game ranger in an open 10 seater game viewing vehicle.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Johannesburg - Shepherds Tree Game Lodge Upon arrival at the airport you'll be met by Bono Tours and Safaris or the representative will come and collect you from your place residence then proceed to the SHEPHERDS TREE GAME LODGE - Pilanesburg Game Reserve via the Chameleon Village African Craft Market (time permit). The journey will take up to 2.5hours to the lodge. SHEPHERDS TREE GAME LODGE staff will welcome you arrival and assist you with your check in and explain to you on how the lodge operates and introduced to you your field guide who will be taking you on your safari for the duration of your stay. After check in your be escorted to your room to freshen up before leaving for the afternoon game drive to enjoy the BIG FIVE and what nature had to offer on that afternoon. Refreshments will be served during the course of the safari. Came back to the lodge early evening and dinner will be served.

Day 2. Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Enjoy your morning looking for the African wildlife then came back to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the day will be spent at the lodge relaxing by the pool or in your room or you can visit the SPA (own account). Then you leave again for the afternoon game drive.

Day 3.Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Came back to the lodge after the morning game drive then have breakfast and check out. Then Bono Tours and Safaris representative will take you back to the airport or place of residence with fun filled memories.
