The glacier was beautiful and rafting was fine. The guide was great. However the ad talked about the reindeer sausage and snacks etc that were supposed to be at the end. Our boat was the last to pull in in the group and all the food was gone when we got there. When I asked a guide about it he said the food is first come first serve. That is all well and good if you get there first, but misleading for those who can't control the order of the boats.
We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Dominic our guide was excellent. He gave us a lot of information and did a great job getting us down the river. We saw a beaver and eagles. Everyone on the raft had a great time! I would recommend this excursion it was not an aggressive river at all and it was very safe.
The trip was outstanding. Our guide was very knowledgeable, all expectations were met as the trip delivered what was promised in the literature. Gear, instruction, transportation, was great. Al, our bus driver, provided a wonderful guided trip to the put - in/take-out points. I
