Our first stop on road to Hana, perfect spot to eat a fresh pastry, watch surfers in action, explore Honu (Hawaiian Sea Turtle) and take pictures of beautiful Northshore coastline.

Spectacular spots abound on the way to the town of roughly 1,200, from the breathtaking Wailua Overlook.

Make sure to bring a pair of binoculars and a camera, because the scenic coastal view is one for the scrapbook! During whale season, you might even get a free whale sighting! Brick and mortar restroom are available.

First, we stop for the best, warm, freshly made Maui banana bread and we'll continue to Ke'anae peninsula to see over 750000 years old lava rugged coastline. A restroom is available.

Easily visible from the road, called also Three Bears Waterfalls, three separate but parallel falls of differing lengths—with the third and smallest being the “baby bear” falls on the right.

A great photo opportunity, in these 5 acres area, a great place to walk around a bit and cool off with a quick swim in the natural pool! A restroom is available.

After refreshing and swimming at the waterfalls, we'll stop for a local specialty Huli Huli Chicken plate served with wild rice and veggies, accompanied with locally grown fruit as a dessert. Chilled Hawaii juice is served. Restroom is available.

120-acres that makeup Wai'anapanapa State Park is the black sand beach named Pa'iloa. We'll spend here an hour so you can swim, explore the blowhole, cave, and breathtaking tropical coastline. A restroom is available.

The dark red sand at Kōkī Beach was produced by the nearby cinder cone hill of Ka Iwi O Pele, meaning “bones of Pele.”

Wailua Falls is a picturesque, yet very easily accessible waterfall visible from The Hana Highway. You don't even need to get out of your car to see it!

Oheo Gulch is known by many names. Some call it the Kipahulu Area, while others call it the location of the Seven Sacred Pools easily visible from the road.

This remote little general store was the only stop on the back-road to Hana for refreshments.

The sight of Hawaiian ruins, jagged lava rocks, and mile after mile of wild, uninhabited country. Great spot to take pictures.
