My wife and I were excited about our Road to Hana tour and had a decent overall experience but there are ways it could have been improved. Unfortunately, the tour did not stop at all of the locations listed on the tour description. Some of these were not the tour guide's fault due to traffic and road access but others were simply passed over due to time which was disappointing. Lunch could have been better coordinated but again it was not the tour guide's fault. The Road to Hana is a long day so it can be exhausting being in a van all day for 10 to 12 hours. As long as you are prepared for that, you'll be fine as the sites are beautiful when you stop at various locations. I would recommend that you try and ensure that all locations will be visited before booking. The Road to Hana is a must see if you are visiting Maui and love nature and the outdoors but don't want to drive the challenging roads!
