Kona Coastline Helicopter Tour

View the magnificent Kona coastline of the Big Island! This tour covers over 30 miles of leeward coastline, and it is spectacular. The Kona shoreline is not a continuous stretch of beach but a rugged volcanic shoreline bejeweled by pristine white and black sand beaches. The unique contrasts between lava, sand, and the deep blue waters of the Pacific are stunning! As with all our tours, during the winter months, guests are likely to see humpback whales that come to Hawaii to calve their young. Seeing the whales breach from above should not be missed! This tour will take you from Kona International Airport, down the leeward coast to the Historic Kailua Village (Kailua-Kona) and the Kona Pier, the starting and finish line of the famous Ironman World Championship. It then continues south over White Sands Beach, Kahaluu Beach and the gorgeous blue waters of Keauhou Bay. Once we reach the dramatic cliffs and sapphire blue waters of the historic Kealakekua Bay, we will head back up the coast to view the beach at Kua Bay and the secluded pristine beach, Makalawena, currently ranked as one of the worlds top ten beaches.
