Explore the natural wonders of Kauai on this 5-hour shore excursion from Nawiliwili Harbor – visit Waimea Canyon and see Spouting Horn. At 14 miles long (22.5 kilometers), 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) wide and more than 3,600 feet (1,097 meters) deep, Waimea Canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific and a true geologic gem. The Waimea Canyon Lookout provides breathtaking views of deep valleys and rugged crags. As you visit the numerous lookouts and trails you will see spectacular views of every part of the canyon.

After exploring the wonders of Waimea Canyon, you’ll take a visual tour of Kauai, driving past Old Koloa Town, Hawaii’s first sugarcane plantation, and Waimea, the town where Captain Cook made his first landing in Hawaii in 1778.

Finish your day exploring another of Kauai’s natural wonders at Spouting Horn, an ocean blow hole near Po’ipu Beach. Wait as the water rushes under a lava shelf and surges through a small opening at the surface, spewing water up to 50 feet (15 meters) in the air. Next to the adjacent hole, compressed air escapes and makes a hissing sound.

Pleasant trip. Our guide was fun. It was nice to see so many other things along the way as well. Kauai is still my favorite of the 5 major islands. It is certainly not as beautiful and huge as the Grand Canyon...but it stand up in its own right. The two waterfalls across the canyon were beautiful.

We opted to take a tour van. I sat in the front seat and had an excellent time. The tour was interesting and got to eat at a mom and pops restaurant. The tour guide was very nice. I loved visiting volcano national park. Our guide took us down the volcano to where the volcanic flow met the ocean.

Excellent tour. The whole experience was wonderful. Tina, the driver and tour guide, was very knowledgeable and easy going. The canyon was amazing. Worth every penny to see this site. One of those places that a picture can’t really show how big it is.
