About this activity
Start your tour in Old Koloa Town, where you will receive a safety orientation from your expert guide to get you feeling comfortable on your fully automatic Mud Bug or Ohana Bug (depending on option selected at booking).
When you're ready, hop in your Bug and take off, either driving or riding through the lush terrain as you make your way up to Survey Point for 360-degree views of Kauai's South Shore. Then, explore the filming location of To End All Wars, a 2001 war movie starring Kiefer Sutherland. Wind your way through old sugarcane roads and endless fields of buffalo grass, and travel along the 0.5-mile (0.8-km) Wilcox Trail for a glimpse of Hawaiian history.
Along the way, look for local wildlife like wild pigs and fruit bats, and listen to descriptive narration provided by your friendly, knowledgeable guide. Your adventure also includes a stop at Waita Resevoir (Hawaii's largest body of water) for some light refreshments.

A unique experience and views of the island, but spent a bit too much time taking photos which we were not interested in anyway. The brief fishing side trip was not necessary and didn't add much to the experience. The ATVs were relatively new and worked well. You will get dirty. Don't wear any clothes that you don't want to get stained with the famous red dirt!
The tour was a blast. I would definitely recommend
