My family toured the Acropolis by ourselves on Saturday, 6/29-we purchased the skip the line admission tickets however we lucked out and there was no crowd at all. However, it is so worth the insurance of not having to wait in lines. The process was very easy, exactly as described in our confirmation email. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beauty and awe of Acropolis goes without saying. A must see when in Athens!
This allowed just to by past ticket line. Although we were there early there wasn't a big line to by pass . However when we where leaving there was a very long line to get tickets . So it worked great for us. It is a must see attraction!!
The place to get the ticket vouchers is a pain to get to and then you have to walk to the site itself. Once there it was worth it. We flew by the hundreds of people in line to go in. Make sure you bring more water than you think you will need. The heat is tremendous. Very little shade.Would be more worth it to include skip the line for the museum as well. That is very cool to visit as well.
The place to get your ticket opens at 7am, and the Acropolis opens at 8am, so it's easy to get your ticket before the Acropolis opens, and be one of the first people up there. With this ticket, my friend and I were able to be one of the first to the top, and were able to get many pictures without people in them. Would definitely recommend!
Coming from Canada, we are overwhelmed with the history of such sites, as we are such a young country in comparison. Truly was something to see. Booked the tickets on line, but the e-ticket was not accepted so had to find an office several blocks from the site to get paper tickets. This is very inconvenient.
Annoying trying to find the place to swap out the barcode paper for a real ticket for the Acropolis....but very worth going to see
This is a great way to see the Acropolis in a very affordable manner. Between Google, downloaded audio guides, and signage we got a pretty good understanding of what we were seeing. We also went to the Acropolis Museum which added more understanding. Picking up the tickets was easy. It was a short walk to the Acropolis itself, and we breezed past the long line buying tickets. It is very crowded, but we were able to walk up, take pictures and see everything, and walk down in around an hour.

Wasted $80-90 on this. It says skip the line as if you save that much time but you don’t since you have to exchange the ticket elsewhere so the staff at Acropolis accepts it. This was not clearly written and when we were told to go to the place the departure and where to get the ticket didn’t match. Asked for a refund and of course didn’t get it. Wasted time looking for the place and wasted money. We ended up just getting the ticket from the Acropolis itself and it was hassle free and waited 5 min only. I always get my tours from viator and always have a good experience except for this one. Disappointed.
