You will visit the Sacred Rock of Acropolis and you'll see the most important ancient site in western world and a universal symbol of the classical spirit. Admire Parthenon, the symbol of democracy, Erechtheum with its "Porch of Maidens" known as Caryatids, Propylae, the grand entrance to Acropolis, Temple of Athena Nike.

The old historical neighborhood of Athens it's known for its picturesque alleyways and its neoclassical architecture.

Pass By: Monastiraki, Athens Greece

The area of Monastiraki is full of life all day and night long. There are a lot of restaurants to eat but also a lot of places to enjoy coffee or beverages, looking up to Acropolis, the best view worldwide-with no exaggeration.

Syntagma square houses the Greek Parliament since 1934.

You will admire the tomb of the uknown soldier, constructed in 1930 which is guarded by the Evzones (meaning well-dressed). Every hour perform the change of the guard in the Tomb of the uknown soldier.

It's the only stadium built entirely of marble in the whole world. It was built in 330BC. It's the finishing point for the annual Athens Classical Marathon. The Panathenaic Stadium hosted the First Modern Olympic Games in 1896 and until now hosts the Olympic Flame handover ceremony

It' s considered to be the most beautiful neoclassical building in the world. It's a part of the Athenian Trilogy neoclassical buildings designed by the Danish architect Hansen. It was built in resemblance of the Propylae of the Acropolis.

Stop At: National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens 157 72, Greece

The building of the university is a part of the Athenian Trilogy neoclassical buildings designed by the Danish architect Hansen. It was founded in 1839. Around the entrance you can see many statues of distinguished men: Adamantios Korais, Ioannis Kapodistrias, Gregory the Fifth and Rigas Feraios.

The building is the third part of the Athenian Trilogy neoclassical buildings designed by the Danish architect Hansen. It was constructed in the years 1888-1902 and preserves the Helenic Intellectual Heritage , possessing almost 2.000.000 books and periodicals and over 4.500 manuscripts.

Stop At: Temple of Olympian Zeus, Leoforos Vasilissis Olgas Leoforos Amalias, Athens 105 57 Greece

The temple was dedicated to Olympian Zeus and it was one of the most famous marbled buildings in the world. There were 104 Corinthian columns of which only 15 remail standing. Ine of those blew down in 1852 because of a storm. Inside the temple was a giant gold and ivory statue of Zeus.

Pass By: Arch of Hadrian (Pili tou Adrianou), Leoforos Amalias, Athens Greece

The arch was constructed in 131 bc to honor the Roman Emperor Handrian. It was marking the boundary between the old ancient city of Athens and the new city.

It was the biggest cemetery of Greece during the 6th century AD.

It took its name from Keramos which means pottery in greek , from the potters that lived in the area before ot was turned into cemetary.

The National Archaeological Museum is the first museum founded in Greek state in 1829. It's one of the most remarkable museums in the world and houses artifacts from prehistory to late antiquity.

Pass By: National History Museum (Old Parliament), 13 Stadiou, Athens 10561 Greece

The old Parliament House was founded by Queen Amalia in 1858 and housed the Parliament of Greece between 1875-1932. Today it houses the National Historical Museum

Pass By: Zappeion Conference & Exhibition Center, Athens Greece

Zappeion Hall is located in the National Gardens of Athens and is used for meetings and ceremonies. It was built in 1869 and it's the first building that was erected for the revival of the Olympic Games in the modern world

Stop At: Puerto de Mikrolimano, Akti Koumoundourou 36, Pireas 185 33, Greece

Mikrolimano, is a small picturesque harbor in Piraeus with luxury yachts and fishing boats and it's the second largest yacht marina of the big port. It was protected by the goddess Mounihia Artemis. In Mikrolimano you can find many fish restaurants, taverns and coffee shops and it's an ideal place for having a taste of the famous traditional greek cuisine. It' s the perfect place to have a lunch during the tour.
