Athens and Santorini 7-Day Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Athens
Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel. Spend the rest of day enjoying vibrant Athens at your leisure.

Day 2: Athens Guided City Tour
You will enjoy the striking contrast between breathtaking monuments of a glorious past and the city's more modern
structures. Visit the Acropolis, the crowning beauty and glory of ancient Athens, with many monuments atop its rocky base including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens.

Drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896), and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. See views of government buildings and elegant structures from the 19th century. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue, and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library. Conclude your day with a visit to the new Acropolis museum (closed on Mondays), a marvel of architecture with a full exhibition of the glory of ancient Athens. This is a balanced day at leisure and exploration.

Day 3: Athens/Santorini
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the port of Athens (Piraeus) to board the ferry to Santorini island. Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel.

Day 4-6: Santorini
A series of sightseeing days spent in the sun enjoying the many delights of Santorini, an island full of unforgettable views and the most romantic sunset in the world. Santorini is the essence of the Greek Islands, where sea meets weather-beaten rock, and colors are bold and elemental. Blue-domed chapels stand on hilltops; houses are simple white cubes, sunsets paint the sky a flamboyant orange. This half-moon island, with its dramatic cliffs and panoramic outlooks, is all that remains of a huge volcanic explosion. Inland, fertile soils provide a softer landscape of silvery olive trees, fields of tomatoes, and neatly planted vineyards that produce sweet amber-colored wine.

Day 7:Santorini/Athens
At the indicated time you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Athens.
