The tour starts with a visit to the local market, immerse yourself in this bustling and colorful Mediterranean scene. The tour continues and goes past remains of the ancient city wall, through the trendy neighborhood of Psiri with its extraordinary street art, and through the picturesque neighborhoods of Monastiraki, Plaka and Anafiotika.

You walk past remains and temples of ancient Athens, past the prison of the famous philosopher Socrates and past the place where democracy was born. You also visit one of the old Greek-Orthodox churches to admire their rich interior and beautiful icons. During the break you will enjoy a real Greek coffee with traditional sweets.
