About this activity
There are two Greek dishes that to me represent the best of my country: the savory & traditional tiropita and the heavenly & ancient loukoumades. They are both delicious on their own way and I can show you and your family how to make them!
Learn how to make two of the most traditional & ancient Greek dishes and find out all the tips & tricks on how to make them as original as possible, treating your children with delicious knowledge and a fun time full of laughs.
Join me for a family friendly private cooking class and learn how you and your children together can make tiropita & loukoumades. We will have the freshest ingredients, prepare them, cook them, eat them, enjoy them. Create a unique memory from your time in Greece with your family and put your cooking hats on!
The tiropita being your savory dish, is one of the most popular dishes in the country and I will share with you my secret recipe. This cheese pie with feta cheese is a must in every Greek cookbook and you can take home my very own recipe.
Now, the loukoumades are the most heavenly golden donuts served originally warm, drizzled with Greek honey, cinnamon, walnuts and toasted sesame. I bet your mouth is watering now! Their recipe can be traced back to the first Greek Olympic games in 776 BC when the Greeks honored their Gods and their visitors with -honey tokens- gold balls of dough, and it is from then until today that loukoumades are a traditional homemade sweet treat you can find at every Greek family home.
Let your children use their creativity and imagination to bring tiropita & loukoumades from plain ingredients to tasty dishes, right in front your eyes!
