From Athens: Ancient Olympia full day private tour

Enter the famous archaeological site of Olympia and marvel at the Temple of Hera, in

front of which burns the Olympic Flame during modern day Olympic Games.

See the Temple of Zeus, which once housed the Golden and Ivory statue of

-We pick you up from your the point of your preference and we start our journey through the Peloponnese peninsula.
- After driving for one hour from Athens,at our first stop, you will discover the famous Corinth Canal. The Corinth Canal is a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth, and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, thus effectively making the former peninsula an island.

Then we head to the Ancient Olympia. The journey to Olympia lasts approximate 3 hours.

Next to the Ancient Olympia is the modern town of Olympia to enjoy a snack or a traditional greek lunch. You can also find shops for souvenirs and boutiques.
