Full-Day Land Rover Safari from Athens with Lunch

Your day-long safari adventure begins at 9:10am with a pickup from your Athens hotel.
Starting our journey towards the small village of Vothonas where we head straight off road along the lake of Marathonas which has been created through the Marathonas dam. On top of the hill we will have our first stop to enjoy the magnificent view over the lake.
Next stop is the village of Afidnes which is built at the East entrance of the Parnitha Mountain, where we join the locals for a coffee break and we have time for a little walk around.
From here we are driving up the mountains to Lake Beletsi before we make our way through the forest to the chapel of Prophet Elias from where we can see the small gorge and enjoy the amazing view. Getting an appetite, we pass the Royal Palace of Tatoi to get to lunch.
A delicious meal consisting of starters and a traditional main course from the oven or the grill (vegetarian option available) all to be accompanied with unlimited local wine and bottled water, is waiting for you to taste at a traditional taverna.
Once refreshed we continue our passing by the former royal forest and gardens, heading towards north outskirts of Attika, where we have time to visit our last highlight, the Forest of Tatoi for a little walk which will be the perfect closing for a beautiful day in Attika.
