Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Ancient Greece with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC, the rival of Athens in wealth, and significant in Biblical times also as the Roman provincial capital of Greece. Amazingly, you wander its streets and see the remains of its temples, workshops & markets, walking in the very footsteps of the ancients spending all the time you need to enjoy & contemplate this magnificent site before continuing.

Our tour proceeds to the Nemean region where viticulture has been recorded for over 2000 years and an area full of ancient settlements such as the bronze age Mycinae only a short distance away. After traveling through the hills & olive groves of this beautiful countryside we find our first winery and join one of the skilled Oenologists for an hours tour and tasting. Continuing for around 20 minutes we come to our second winery chosen to expand on the range of the first and once again allowing you to experience the unique wines derived from the local varieties such as the aromatic Moschofilero & the noble Agiorgitiko.

After thanking our hosts at the winery we travel once more through the local hills & groves returning you to the door of your hotel, cruise ship terminal or onward destination with the memories of the day.
