Itinerary

You will be seated and greeted by our wine expert at our unique tasting Atelier.

A small introduction will take place regarding our wine experience.

You will discover 5 top-class Greek wines, the primary grapes of this land and you will pair them with artisanal cheeses and cold cuts from the mainland and islands of Greece.

We will go deep into the wine regions, back to the ancient Greek history, the grape varieties, the cultivation etc.

Most of the information is projected onto our matrix and the wine charts while we introduce and explain in a casual and laid-back atmosphere.

Lastly, you will learn how to evaluate wines and we will reveal how we recognize the quality in a wine.

Spiros is a wonderful host and is very knowledgeable and engaging with everyone! The wines were a great variety to taste and learn about, the cheeses and mezze they were paired with was delicious as well. Added bonus, the setting where the tasting takes place is absolutely lovely! One quick tip for anyone considering this activity (which I recommend everyone does!) is that many taxis won’t take you there, even though it’s easy to get to and not very far from the Acropolis, so give yourself ample time to walk or take a different method of transportation in case you have difficulty with a cab! We cannot begin to tell you what a great time we had at this wine tasting. Our host was very knowledgeable about the wines he served. All Greek wines from the region. Each with a story to tell. The grapes from the white wines each had specific wineries, tastes, and aromas associated with them. Our host, explained each in detail, their properties and guided us in discovering the complexities with each. The reds were full bodied and equally as complex. To complement this tasting were assorted meats and cheeses from the area that complimented the tasting. It was a wonderful time that I would repeat again and again. Who knew Greece had such wonderful wines.
