Overview
The 1 Day Lake Mburo Safari takes you to a tour to the smallest reserve in Uganda that harbors several wildlife species not observed elsewhere in Uganda. This tour takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the Kampala City into a serene place that is only 4 hours away from Kampala City.
This is the only place in Uganda which supports a population of impala and the only one of the three protected areas countrywide where Burchell’s zebra occurs. Other antelopes easily seen are topi, bush buck, common duiker, oribi, Defassa waterbuck and Bofor reedbuck.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
With an early breakfast and a packed lunch, you will depart from Kampala at 6 am and drive to the western part of Uganda for your 1 Day Lake Mburo National Park Safari. You will drive straight into the park and enjoy game drive in the park as you enjoy fabulous views of Buffaloes, Zebras, Leopards, a variety of antelopes, warthogs with Uganda Wildlife Authority Guide.
In the afternoon, you will conduct a boat cruise on Lake Mburo as you enjoy your packed Lunch as you enjoy views of crocodiles and lots of hippos with a variety of birds.
Later set off for Kampala with en route stop at the Equator for photographs and Mbaire Village-the local community popular for making local drums .
