DAY 2: Gorilla trekking and community walk-Bwindi Impenetrable forest

Early breakfast in the morning, after drive to the park headquarters for briefing by the Park rangers about the do’s and don’ts in the park and also here, will be divided into groups of 8 individuals. After this continue and start off the trekking, one of the most endangered animal species as guided by the rangers. You will spend about 1 hour with them, taking photos, watching them feed, play around and also do their day to day activities. But depending on the location and the movement of the gorillas, this activity may take about 2 hours or even 8 hours; also expect to walk longer distances with walking sticks due to the muddy and steep landscape. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and a power nap. In the evening you may decide to visit the Batwa community (native culture in the forest) where you will get exposed to their culture & norms; dance, lifestyle, storytelling and more which is very amazing and unique. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
