Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls (Travel Time +5hrs)

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala ready for you will be met by our guide. Then transfer to North-west through famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, branch off for a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and picnic lunch. Proceed to Murchison falls National Park with sightseeing enroute to your Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Para Safari Lodge/ Nile safari lodge (High end), Murchison River lodge (Mid-range end) or Heritage Safari Lodge (Low end facility). Meal plan: Half-Board

Day 2: Murchison Falls

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
After your cup of coffee, Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Para Safari Lodge/ Nile safari lodge (High end), Murchison River lodge (Mid-range end) or Heritage Safari Lodge (Low end facility). Meal plan: Full-Board.

Day 3: Murchison-Kampala (Travel Time +5hrs)

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
After an early morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala at your convenience with lunch enroute. You will arrive in the afternoon or evening andy our guide will drop you at your hotel of residence in Kampala or at Entebbe airport to catch up with your flight back home or to your next destination. End of services, Meal plan: Half-Board.
