Itinerary

Day 1: DAY 1: WELCOME TO UGANDA!

Stop At: Airport Transfer Entebbe, Kampala Uganda
You will be picked up and welcomed from the airport by a representative of your hotel where you will spend the overnight. He will transfer you to your hotel. You will meet your driver/ guide tomorrow morning when he picks you up from your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may be able to explore the sites in and around Kampala. Activities today are at your own costs. You will stay in a nice lodge with beautiful views on Lake Victoria. The hotel has cozy safari style furnished rooms, equipped with satellite TV, fridge bar, telephone, fan, balcony with lake-view and a comfortable bathroom

Day 2: DRIVE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK WITH AN EQUATOR STOP LUNCH EN-ROUTE ON A FULL BOARD BASIS.

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Start this amazing day with a delicious early morning Breakfast as you prepare to start your journey to the stunning Bwindi Impenetrable National park, you will have a stopover at the Equator and watch the water demonstration as you proceed will be able to meet a lot of amazing feature such as the fascinating savannah woodland of L.Mburo national park if luck enough see the Zebras grazing, meet the happy and smiling people. You will later have a lunch stop over, stretch and relax then drive to Buhoma community Lodge in the south-western part of Uganda. You cross a beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’.Your lodge is deep in the forest with view of the mist falling on the forested mountains. This will undoubtedly be one of the most spectacular views you have ever seen! From here you will depart tomorrow for the gorilla tracking so it is best to get a good night’s sleep.

Day 3: DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
is the big day prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants: the rare mountain gorilla. For most people this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest boasts both mountain gorillas and the only forest in Africa which can make this claim, in fact. It also hosts five other species of primate, species of mammal, butterflies and birds. En route to the gorillas, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots.The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Your track will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, intertwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorilla family. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. Day 4: DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Stop At: Lake Mburo National Park, Mbarara Uganda
Wake up on a warm breakfast check out and setoff yet for another fascinating Destination Lake Mburo National Park the only place in Uganda where an Impala is found. When you reach Lake Mburo National park, you will do an afternoon boat cruise where you will be able to see a variety of water birds such as the African Finfoot, Pied Kingfisher and lots of mammals grazing and quenching thirsty along the lake. After this unique experience you will go for an evening game driving where you will have chances to see herds of Zebras, Buffalo, Impalas, Water Bucks and much more amazing wildlife and the beautiful scenery. You will later be driven back to the lodge for Dinner and spend an overnight.

Day 5: DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA/ ENTEBBE

Stop At: Airport Transfer Entebbe, Kampala Uganda
After an early breakfast at the lodge, we will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (Airport) stopping at the equator for the requisite snapshot and a bit of souvenir shopping. Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. If you wish to depart tonight from Entebbe Airport, make sure your flight is at 10 pm or later. If you would like us to book one (or more) nights in Kampala or Entebbe, please let us know.
